Corisco Oil, an Extremaduran company based in Talayuela in Cáceres, faces the challenges of the current pandemic due to Covid-19, recovering the commercial and production pulse of its prized olive oil, facing all the hygiene and social distancing measures required by the health authorities.

Corisco Oil, a Spanish firm from the Extremadura region, has been awarded in the Mezquita Awards with a gold medal within the Extra Virgin Olive Oil category. The product has obtained a score of 90 out of 100, within a roster of thirty other references coming from Spain and Portugal within no bitter Green Fruit without DOP.
The show began during ExpoCórdoba 26 years ago, at the beginning, Mezquita Awards become the most important wine competition southern half of Spain. From 2014, Mezquita Awards are also held Extra Virgin Olive Oil Mezquita Awards, AOVE. The olive-growing sector has placed its trust in this competition, which has soon reached a high level of participation.
